Marine Industrial Paint Company was founded in 1938, in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida where we can still be found to this day.

We began as a manufacturer of steel-hull boat paint for the large commercial and residential boat industry found here in Tampa.

For over 45 years, Marine Industrial has expanded its product line to meet the demands of both commercial and residential consumers.

In the early 1970s, our unique and innovative formulas met the needs of the Florida Citrus industry.
Our industrial line, INMAR, became a household name within the Citrus Industry, as it is designed to withstand extreme abuse and acidic conditions on equipment and concrete.

The ever-changing needs of our customers lead us to explore new avenues for stain application.

In 1983, Marine Industrial Paint acquired Tuf-Top Coatings. Tuf-Top, founded in the 1950s, had long been touted for its superior durability under industrial conditions.

As the demand for colored concrete grew so did our desire for making the best product on the market. Over the past three decades Tuf Top has become a name recognized for it’s superior products and fantastic customer support.

Since then, we have been committed to excellence in the development and manufacturing of a wide variety of concrete stains, sealers, epoxies, urethanes, and assorted additives.
